Together this year we have raised $53 005.00 to help fund Neuroblastoma Research and Families. Thank you Everyone!
A review of 2015 takes us to all our successful fundraisers both in Victoria BC and Prince Albert Saskatchewan. On behalf of our team we like to thank you most sincerely for all your support, time and encouragement. It is because of people and businesses like yours that we are able to go beyond our goals and accomplished such amazing results. We believe that the community is starting to learn more about Team 4 Hope and our mission to fund badly needed research and help families of children with Neuroblastoma. We are the largest organization in Western Canada raising awareness and supporting Neuroblastoma.
2015 was an emotional year as we lost two children who were very dear to us. Elise and Rene were both diagnosed with Neuroblastoma around the same time and developed a deep friendship over the years as they went through their treatment and two relapses together. We always looked forward to seeing them and their families at our events and various outings. Sadly this is the truth with Neuroblastoma, it is a terrible diseases with harsh treatments and poor outcomes. Advances in treatments are needed now. Five years ago when we started no one was doing research outside of Toronto in Canada, now we are seeing more and more interest in Western Canada and researchers coming to us. It is a long road with many obstacles however every child’s life is precious and important and precious.
