Thank you to all the stores, groups, schools and volunteers who helped make our 6th Annual Handbags for Hopes a success. Together we raised another $10 500 to help fund much needed research for Neuroblastoma and help for local families. This year we dedicated the jewelry room the Elise Schoenrank Jewelry Showcase in honour of Elise who passed away September 4, 2015 from Neuroblastoma at the age of 17. We had four local mothers of children who were diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in attendance this year as well as three other local oncology moms.
Once again the Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Empress out did themselves. Thank you for your ongoing support of our event and making everything run smoothly. We also had the ongoing support of Used.Ca , Niche Magazine, A la Mode and Vibes Fitness who provided promotion and assistance in our collection drive and the main event.
